Man dies after car crashes into trees in Prince George’s Co.

WASHINGTON — A man is dead after his car crashed into trees in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Saturday morning.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. when the car was traveling north on Adelphi Road. It left the road at the intersection of Adelphi Road and 26th Place and crashed into trees.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision.

The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Northbound Adelphi Road at 26th Place is closed, according to Prince George’s County police.
