3 hospitalized after Prince George’s Co. recreation center shooting

WASHINGTON — Three people are in the hospital after a shooting at a Prince George’s County recreation center Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. at the Kentlands Community Center located at 2411 Pinebrook Ave. in Landover, Maryland.

Emergency crews transported one person to the hospital from the scene and another two people were taken to the hospital by someone else, says Lt. Brian Waters with Maryland National Capital Park Police.

Officials have not released information about the extent of their injuries.

Police are working to determine the suspects and motive at this time, Waters says. No arrests have been made.
