ADOPTED! Pet of the Week: Birdie, Chihuahua mix

WASHINGTON – “Bye Bye Birdie!” We hope to be singing that soon for this 4-year- old male Chihuahua mix.

And given his stunning good looks — including two different colored eyes — and sweet personality, it should not take long to find a home for this pup.

Birdie is gentle, affectionate, and just a bit shy. But just sit and chat with him for a few minutes, and he’ll climb quietly into your lap for some hands-on affection. If you’re looking for a pint-size puppy pal, stop by the Washington Animal Rescue League and meet Birdie.

WTOP Living is partnering with the Washington Animal Rescue League to feature a Pet of the Week available for adoption. For more information about Birdie, email adoption@warl.org or call 202-726-2556 ext. 503.
