Young guys make ancient history, old guys find the fountain of youth, and the last undefeated team falls in the NFL Week 6 Recap.
Here is a recap of Week 6 of the NFL.

Titans 36 Tennessee came back from 10 points down to snap an embarrassing (and historic) 11-game losing streak against Indianapolis, and pull into a 3-way tie for the division lead. If the Titans offense keeps riding Derrick Henry they won’t be out of first place again. (Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty Images)

Broncos 10 Denver just got dominated at home against arguably the worst of the league’s winless teams and has scored just one TD between the first quarter of Week 4 and the fourth quarter of Sunday night. When do the Broncos finally admit this Trevor Siemian experiment isn’t working? (AP Photo/Joe Mahoney)

Raiders 16 You know it’s a weird week in the NFL when the Chargers are the one of the teams pulling off a come-from-behind win instead of giving away the game late. (Photo by Don Feria/Getty Images)

Chiefs 13 Unlike most NFL teams, Pittsburgh loves it in Kansas City. The Steelers have won three of their last four games at Arrowhead Stadium (including the playoffs), and nobody in the Super Bowl era has more than Pittsburgh’s seven wins against teams with records of 5-0 or better. All thanks to the Steeler defense shutting down one of the most prolific offenses in football and the offense’s first game in which Le’Veon Bell rushed for 150 yards and Antonio Brown topped 150 receiving yards simultaneously. This is the boost Pittsburgh’s confidence needed. (Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

Jaguars 17 Leonard Fournette is just making all kinds of history for Jacksonville: His first quarter touchdown not only made him the second player to open his rookie season by scoring a TD in each of his team’s first six games — it also marked the first time in the Super Bowl era that any game had two TDs of at least 75 yards in the first 30 seconds of play. Here’s hoping his ankle injury won’t keep one of the most exciting young players in the league out of the Jaguars lineup. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

Cards 38 Remember when old people went to Florida to retire? Apparently that place is Arizona for NFL players. But the old Cardinals got their groove back Sunday: Carson Palmer had his best game of the year, Larry Fitzgerald tallied his second 10-catch, 100-yard, TD game of the season, and Adrian Peterson had more yards and touchdowns in his debut than he had in four games for New Orleans. Peterson was right; he’s still got something in the tank and he showed it immediately (Arizona averaged 52 yards per game entering Sunday … Peterson had 54 on the game’s first drive). Redskins 26 In a game defined by being more like a contentious family reunion than a football game, the storyline no one could predict ended up stealing the show: San Francisco’s offense is significantly better with C.J. Beathard under center and now that he’s locked up the starting QB gig, the Niners’ NFL-record streak of five straight losses by three points or fewer is about to end against the Cowboys. Ravens 24 (OT) Two things were verified in this game: 1) Baltimore’s offense is reprehensible and nothing during the 2017 season can change that. 2) As evidenced by wins over the Ravens and Steelers, Chicago’s best path to the playoffs is if they petition for realignment so they can join the stunningly inept AFC North. Texans 33 Not only were we denied the beautiful symmetry of Deshaun vs. DeShone … but … well, I’m just gonna leave this right here:

Jets 17 Tom Brady overcame his first 14-point first half deficit against the Jets to become the all-time winningest regular season QB, making this 1) the only thing to go according to plan this week, and 2) the second most famous thing associated with the number 187. Saints 52 In the craziest game of the week, New Orleans scored their first defensive touchdown in 679 days (and poured on a franchise-record 3 TDs), the Saints running backs showed they don’t need Adrian Peterson by tallying 237 total yards, and New Orleans had the rare instance of topping 50 points without Drew Brees doing much (and actually committing the team’s first turnovers of the year). The Saints suddenly look like a contender in a wide open NFC South. (Photo by Jonathan Bachman/Getty Images)

Vikings 23 Aaron Rodgers is likely done for the season and it’s far and away the biggest story of Week 6. Unless Brett Hundley magically starts playing like another guy named Brett who used to play in Green Bay, this all but kills the Pack’s playoff hopes and makes the NFC North a two-horse race between Minnesota and Detroit. Falcons 17 Since entering the NFL in 2008, Matt Ryan’s five losses in which his team led by 17-plus points (regular season and playoffs combined) leads all QBs. Perhaps the Matty Ice nickname best references how cold he and the Falcons get when he’s got a big lead to protect. (AP Photo/David Goldman)

Panthers 23 While everyone’s going nuts with “The Philadelphia Eagles are for real” talk, I still need to see more. All three of their touchdowns Thursday came after the Luke Kuechly injury and were largely set up by some flukey Carolina turnovers. I give Philly props for winning despite a huge penalty disparity and continuing their wildly hyped success on third down … but I have to see them sweep the Redskins for the first time in 6 years and distance themselves in the NFC East before I look at them as more than a fast starting team.
