9th largest Powerball jackpot up for grabs

WASHINGTON — Who wants to be a millionaire?

There was no winner for Saturday’s $384 million Powerball jackpot, and now the prize has risen to a whopping $440 million. The loot is the ninth largest sum in Powerball history.

The winning numbers will be drawn Wednesday.

The Powerball numbers drawn on Saturday were 28, 36, 41, 51 and 58. The Powerball number was 24 and the Power Play multiplier was 2.

The odds of winning the jackpot, according to Powerball, are 1 in 292,201,338.

The Mega Millions winner was also drawn Friday without a winner. The jackpot is $343 million and the winner will be chosen Tuesday.

The winning numbers drawn on Friday for the Mega Millions were 4, 10, 18, 28, 62 with a Megaball of 7 and a Megaplier (multiplier) at 2x.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions are 1 in 302,575,350, according to CNBC.
