Better Than Ezra to headline DC Rock ‘N’ Roll races

WASHINGTON — Runners in the DC Rock ‘N’ Roll marathon and half marathon will jam to alternative rock trio, Better Than Ezra.

Organizers announced the band will headline the March 14 event.

The New Orleans band, which made it big in the 90s with hits such as “Good” and “Desperately Wanting,” will perform at the free Post Race Headliner Concert at the Finish Line Festival, organizers say.

Other performers for the Finish Line Festival have not yet been announced.

The DC Rock ‘N’ Roll races will feature other live performers on the course from a variety of music styles.

If your band is ready to jam for joggers, organizers are still accepting applications for course performers.

The DC Rock ‘N’ Roll marathon and half marathon beginning at 7:30 a.m. March 14 on Constitution Avenue at 14th Street NW.

There is also a DC Rock ‘N’ Roll 5K, which begins at RFK Stadium Lot 7.
