WASHINGTON — A fuel spill at Cabin John Creek Saturday morning caused road closures and delays on Cabin John Parkway in Bethesda, Maryland.
Fuel spilled into the creek from a tractor trailer that had crashed on the ramp from Cabin John Parkway to Clara Barton Parkway.
No injuries were reported.
Cabin John Parkway was closed around 10 a.m. as hazmat crews worked on cleaning the spill, but was reopened just before 12:30 p.m.
The Maryland Department of the Environment is investigating the environmental damage.
