WASHINGTON — Two men were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Police said a Lexus SUV struck a utility pole on University Boulevard West at Royalton Road near the Four Corners area of Silver Spring.
The driver, Leonel Osvaldo Gonzales, 24, and the passenger, Hodimyr Gonzalez, 28, were pronounced dead at the scene. Both men were from Silver Spring.
The crash happened at around 2:30 a.m.
Police said speed may have may have been a factor.
