Between Dec. 22 and Dec. 27, a suspect or suspects pried open a door to a building in the 8800 block of Brookville Road in Silver Spring, according to Montgomery County police. The location holds tools and equipment used by employees of Purple Line Transit Constructors, LLC for construction of the Purple Line, a 16-mile, 21-stop line that will connect Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.

During the burglary, the suspect stole tools valued at several thousand dollars as well as a Ford F450 Stake Body that belonged to Purple Line Transit Constructors, LLC, Montgomery County police said.

Police released an image of the truck Monday, and asked for help in locating anyone involved in the crime.

Anyone who has information about burglary and/or the stolen truck can contact police at 240-773-6710.
