WASHINGTON — A pickup truck slammed into a restaurant in Silver Spring, Maryland, Monday morning.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue says it happened at La Frontera on Randolph Road just after 6:30 a.m. The driver of the truck was trapped and was taken to a hospital.
There’s no word yet on the extent of the injuries.
There is moderate structural damage to the building and it’s unsafe to occupy.
A building inspector will check out the damage.
