WASHINGTON — UPDATE 10 A.M. , Montgomery County Fire officials say nine cars were involved, not five, as reported earlier.
A pipe leak in Montgomery county created an icy mess Saturday night.
A five-car crash on Georgia Avenue and Plyers Mill Road was caused because of icy conditions on the road. No injures were reported.
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission says the leak is scheduled to be fixed Sunday morning and crews have sanded the road. No customers are currently impacted but the leak could cause traffic issues with blocked lanes for repairs.
