President Joe Biden exercised his executive power Friday by taking part in a presidential tradition: The pardoning of two turkeys at the White House ahead of Thanksgiving.
This year’s turkeys are named Peanut Butter and Jelly. Luckily, these two will not end up on a sandwich this year — they will go to live at Purdue University in its Animal Science and Research Center, where they have their own indoor enclosure and access to a shaded grassy area.
