PHOTOS: Prince Philip laid to rest at St. George’s chapel in Windsor

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, Britain’s Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II’s husband of 73 years, was laid to rest at St. George’s chapel in Windsor Castle, Windsor, England. He was 99.

His funeral procession was led by a Land Rover Defender, which the Duke of Edinburgh himself modified for the occasion. He served in the British Royal Navy and fought in WWII.
