PHOTOS: 87th Masters tees off in Augusta, Ga.

The 87th Masters teed off Thursday morning amid the blooming azaleas and towering pines of Augusta National Golf Club.

In the end, Jon Rahm shot 69 to capture his first Masters championship by four strokes over LIV golfers Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson, becoming the fourth player from Spain to win a green jacket.

From the renegade LIV tour to Scottie Scheffler’s bid for a second straight green jacket to an elongated 13th hole, golf’s first major of the year provides its usual abundance of compelling storylines. And don’t forget about five-time champion Tiger Woods… Here are some photos from golf’s first major of the year.
