The super popular Honda CR-V is getting a rugged and efficient new TrailSport Hybrid trim.
Honda said the CR-V has been America’s bestselling crossover utility vehicle over the last 28 years. The automaker also said it sold nearly half-a-million of them here last year.
This CR-V’s exterior is finished in a new ash green metallic color. It’s complemented by chunky black wheels, which are wrapped in knobby all-terrain tires that still offer a smooth ride.
Inside, the TrailSport Hybrid keeps things simple. It has a straightforward interior, featuring black cloth seats with orange stitching and the TrailSport logo embroidered on the headrests.
The compact LED screen and traditional gear shifter add to the no-nonsense feel, making it a breath of fresh air for those who prefer minimalism over high-tech distractions. The back doors open wide, making it easy for kids and adults to get in and out comfortably. However, this one does lack a spare tire.
Honda lands just above the study average in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study.
With the hybrid system, this model gets a combined 35 miles per gallon, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Honda said hybrid electric models currently represent more than half CR-V sales.
This 2026 CR-V TrailSport Hybrid is priced at $40,650, including shipping, with the paint color as the only option.
