Recipes: How to use summer’s tomatoes

WASHINGTON —  Here are a few ways you can use up tomatoes while they’re still at their peak.

Few things are better than a late-summer tomato. The color is bright, the bite is juicy and the flavor is sweet and tangy — and this time of year, perfect tomatoes are aplenty.
