WASHINGTON – Better work up a good appetite this week, Virginia — it is Restaurant Week in Northern Virginia.

That means more than 60 eateries in Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudon counties are offering special discount prices.

The restaurants are encouraged to set their own lunch and dinner menus, and the discounts mean you can treat your dad – or your date – to a good meal without emptying your bank account.

Among the restaurants participating this year are Morton’s The Steakhouse in Reston, Ford’s Fish Shack in Ashburn and Plaza Azteca in Sterling. Other eateries getting in on the fun are The Melting Pot in Reston, Trummers on Main in Clifton and the Buffalo Wing Factory in Ashton and Sterling.

Northern Virginia Restaurant Week runs from March 7 through March 14.
