ANNANDALE, Va. (AP) — Police say a 68-year-old Virginia woman died after she was found pinned under a vehicle in her driveway in Annandale.
Fairfax County Police said in a statement Thursday that the woman was found pinned under the vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. Officers and fire and rescue personnel were called. Police say the woman was pronounced dead a short time later.
Crash reconstruction unit detectives responded and police say their investigation found that the woman apparently slipped under the vehicle after accidentally placing it in gear.
