2 arrested on gun charges after threatening DC police officers

WASHINGTON — Police in D.C. made two arrests and recovered two guns after threats were made against D.C. police officers on Thursday.

On Thursday, May 10, a man called the Sixth District station in D.C. and threatened to harm police officers a little after 10 p.m., police said.

Police launched an investigation and obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 2300 block of Good Hope Road Southeast. As a result, police recovered two unregistered guns and ammunition. Two people were also arrested.

Corey Lamont Roberson, 45, of Southeast D.C. was arrested for felony threats, possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of unregistered ammunition.

Kimberly Ross, 47, of Southeast D.C. was also arrested and charged with possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of unregistered ammunition.
