DC police investigate fatal shooting in Northeast

WASHINGTON — D.C. police detectives are looking for answers after a man was shot and killed in Northeast early Monday morning.

Around 2:30 a.m. Monday, police responded to the sounds of gunshots in the 700 block of Langston Terrace in Northeast, the police said in a press release.

The officers found Anthony Jerome Clark, 24, of Southeast, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.

Anyone with more information about the case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-0900 or send information anonymously by sending a text message to 50411.
