4 shot in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON — Four men were shot in Northeast D.C. near one of the city’s busiest roads.

It happened around 2 a.m. Monday. Police say that they are looking at two scenes. The first is in the area of New York Avenue and Bladensburg Road. The second scene is along New York Avenue close to South Dakota Avenue.

Police said that the victims’ injuries are not life-threatening and that all four victims are in stable condition at local hospitals.

Police do not have any suspects at this time.

Bladensburg Road toward South Dakota Avenue is closed, and all outbound lanes on New York Avenue Northeast are closed, as police investigate the shooting.
