DC man arrested for shooting, killing Upper Marlboro man

WASHINGTON — A D.C. man is under arrest and charged with the first-degree murder of a Maryland man shot multiple times while in the 1500 block of Park Road, Northwest Thursday.

Robert Edward Green, 27, of Southeast D.C. was arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed for the death of 43-year-old Andre Junior of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Police said they responded to a report of a shooting in the 1500 block of Park Road, Northwest a little after 1:30 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Junior suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
