Man dies after being trapped under bus in DC

WASHINGTON — A man died after he was trapped under a bus in downtown D.C. Wednesday afternoon.

Around 4:30 p.m., a man became trapped under a PRTC commuter bus on 14th St. NW south of Constitution Avenue NW near the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted that the man died as a result of the crash.

It is not yet clear what led to the crash.

D.C. officials are at the scene investigating.
