Suspects crash stolen truck into 7-Eleven, steal ATM (Video)

WASHINGTON — Three masked suspects crashed a stolen truck into a 7-Eleven in Northwest D.C. Friday and took an ATM.

D.C. police say the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Cedar Street Northwest.

A surveillance video shows a blue pickup truck crashing into the 7-Eleven. Once inside, three masked suspects, dressed in black, stole the ATM before fleeing the scene in the same truck.

The truck was stolen on Thursday and was recovered at Piney Branch Road and Dahlia Street minutes later, NBC Washington reported. Parts of the ATM were also found at Piney Branch Road.

Police say the suspects are being sought for a “Theft One” offense and a “Destruction of Property” offense.
