BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore police are investigating a double homicide in which a woman and her adult son were found fatally shot in their home.
The department said in a news release that firefighters went to the home on Monday afternoon for a reported smoke alarm. Police say the firefighters found 69-year-old Patricia Ann Mosley and her 42-year-old son, Samuel Jones, in the home with gunshot wounds to their heads.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. Mosley died at Shock Trauma.
