Gaby comes to WTOP from Sputnik News where she spent the last eight years working her way up from social media manager to writer, and then senior editor.

While she covered a lot of national and international stories at Sputnik, she is a Montgomery County, Maryland, native who grew up in Germantown and neighboring Boyds. A graduate of the Univ. of Maryland, College Park, Gaby enjoys covering science and politics. She is also conversational in Spanish.

When she’s not in the newsroom, you can find Gaby either enjoying a good book or looking for a new Lego build.
