Catherine joined WTOP in 2025 as an associate producer. She graduated from the University of North Alabama, where she studied Finance and Radio-TV-Film Production.

Before joining WTOP, Catherine worked as a TV and digital producer at Voice of America, where she spent 13 years producing live shows, covering breaking news, and creating digital and social content for national and international audiences.

Born in China, Catherine is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Outside of work, she’s passionate about fitness and loves running and CrossFit. She also enjoys traveling and hopes to visit every continent.
