WASHINGTON — A woman is dead after she crashed into an apartment building in District Heights, Maryland.
According to Prince George’s County Police, Marquita Cherie Shalane Wimms was found suffering from gunshot wounds when she crashed into the building.
Wimms — 32, of Temple Hills — died at the scene.
The car she drove crashed into a three-story complex on Rochelle Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Police say this is now a death investigation.
