Man’s death investigated in Montgomery Village

WASHINGTON — A man’s death is under investigation after he was found in the woods in Montgomery Village on Monday.

According to Montgomery County police, around 12:45 p.m., a passer-by called 911 to report a possible injured person in the wooded area behind the 18200 block of Contour Road. There, officers found a deceased 22-year-old man.

An autopsy is set for Tuesday, and police say they are continuing to investigate the man’s death.
