WASHINGTON - The Cherry Blossom Festival has officially ended, but there is certainly no shortage of events happening in the D.C. region.

This weekend is packed with notable concerts at venues of all sizes. Read on for some of the highlights.

Scheduled for Friday, Living Colour - of "Cult of Personality" fame - makes a stop at the 9:30 Club.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of their debut album, "Vivid."

On Saturday, local songwriter Justin Jones performs at IOTA Club and Cafe in Arlington, Virginia.

The concert will be the final stop in Jones' "I Can Feel It Tour," so expect a packed house. Keep in mind -- IOTA Club and Cafe offers admission on a "first- come-first-served" basis, so an early dinner at the venue could be a good option for assuring a spot for the show.

Also scheduled for Saturday, Wisconsin songwriter Willy Porter performs at Jammin Java in Vienna, Va.

Check out Porter performing his song, "Unconditional" below:

This Sunday, legendary R&B artist Shuggie Otis performs at the Howard Theatre.

Otis famously dropped out of the music scene after writing the classic song, "Strawberry Letter 23" in the early ‘70s.
