WASHINGTON — Snow began to accumulate in the southern suburbs of D.C. late Sunday afternoon. Some residents in the snowy areas sent in some photos of what they were seeing while they were wrapping up their weekend.
More southerly Virginia cities like Charlottesville, Fredericksburg and Stafford saw accumulation in the range of 1 to 3 inches, while some locations in Nelson County checked in with five inches of snow.
