Metro resumes service on Blue/Yellow lines, delays expected

WASHINGTON — Metro track repairs at Pentagon City station lead to sudden service disruptions on the Blue and Yellow lines Monday morning. Service was restored but riders should expect delays in both directions.

Both Crystal City and Pentagon City stations closed temporarily. Train service on the Blue and Yellow lines between Reagan National and the Pentagon was interrupted.

Metro described the issue at Pentagon City station as “unscheduled track repairs.”

Metro riders tweeted photos and video of a fire on the tracks at Pentagon City station.
