WASHINGTON — The most expensive residential real estate sale in the Washington metro area in November was in Northwest D.C.’s Foxhall neighborhood, and it sold for $275,000 less than its most recent list price.
Listing service Bright MLS reported that 2400 Foxhall Road — a 1930s Georgian on 1.5 acres with a pool, three-car garage, five bedrooms and six fireplaces — sold Nov. 17 for $5.225 million. It was listed at $5.5 million.
Three of the 10 most expensive residential sales in the Washington region in November were in the District, four were in McLean, two were in Potomac and one was in Chevy Chase.
The top 10 closing prices ranged from $3.325 million to $5.225 million.
