Prince William police investigating possible kidnapping (Video)

WASHINGTON — A store’s surveillance video captured an alleged abduction where two men appeared to force another person in the trunk of a car.

On Friday around 10 p.m., a car pulled in the front of the Wal-Mart on Worth Avenue in Woodbridge. Two men got out of the dark-colored sedan and disappeared from view. One man returned to the car and opened the trunk of the car from the driver’s side. He then disappeared from view again only to return seconds later with the other car’s occupant and another person.

Two men can be seen forcing the other person inside the trunk of the car. Once the victim was inside, the suspects got back in the vehicle and drove away.

A news release said additional surveillance video reviewed by police showed the suspects’ vehicle driving next to the possible victim before the incident happened, and they were engaged in a conversation.

Witnesses reported that the victim and the suspects appeared to be “play fighting” before the victim was forced in the trunk.

Anyone with information should contact police at 703-792-6500.
