Police: Shots fired from vehicle hit, wound 3 people in Manassas

WASHINGTON — Gunshots fired from a vehicle struck and wounded a boy, a woman and a man in Manassas, Virginia, on Wednesday night, police said.

The three victims were walking around the 9800 block of Maury Lane when someone shot them from a vehicle, and quickly left the area, according to Manassas City police.

Police responded to the shooting around 7:30 p.m.

All three were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that the shooting did not appear to be random and there could be multiple suspects involved, possibly using two vehicles: A dark gray Mercedes-Benz sedan and a dark-colored Honda sedan with a loud exhaust were seen leaving the area together.

As police continue to investigate, anyone with information about this shooting can call 703-257-8000.
