Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (NYSE: PEI) announced Monday that it has lined up tenants for 80 percent of the space it has renovated at the Mall at Prince Georges in Hyattsville.
The mall is home to an H&M that opened in 2016 and a recently opened Flight 23 by Footaction. Those will be joined by a DSW in 16,000 square feet, a Five Below in 8,500 square feet and an Ulta Beauty in 11,000 square feet, plus three storefronts from Grand Jewels — Alex and Ani, Pandora and Kendra Scott.
As for food, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Five Guys and Mezeh Grill will open in late 2017 or early 2018, all with exterior entrances fronting Route 410 — the East-West Highway.
“In an effort to capitalize on the opportunities to enhance the asset, PREIT focused on attracting sought after retail and dining venues and improving the aesthetics and curb appeal of the high-trafficked destination,” per a release.
