U.Md. student charged with murder in another student’s killing

WASHINGTON — A University of Maryland student is charged with murder and other charges after police say he stabbed another man at a bus stop on campus.

University of Maryland student Sean Christopher Urbanski, 22, of Severna Park, Maryland, is facing first and second degree murder charges as well as assault charges in another man’s killing.

University of Maryland Police said officers responded to a bus stop on Regents Drive near Montgomery Hall on campus just after 3 a.m. Saturday, to find a man suffering from stab wounds to his chest.

The victim, a student at Bowie State University, was waiting at the bus stop with two friends when he was attacked, police told WTOP.

Shortly after, officials said Prince George’s County Police officers stopped Urbanski near Montgomery Hall, and witnesses identified him as the attacker.
