Prince George’s County police find 2 dead in Hyattsville woods

WASHINGTON – Two men were found dead in Prince George’s County, Maryland, last night, and this morning police are trying to figure out who did it.

The bodies were found in a wooded area behind some apartment buildings along the 2100 block of Guilford Road in Hyattsville. The victims were identified as 27-year-old Jesus Pacheco-Santos and 22-year-old Robert Jimenez-Gonzalez.

On June 10, at about 8:30 p.m., patrol officers were called for a welfare check. They found the victims outside suffering from trauma. They were pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death.

Police are offering up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.

Detectives are working to identify a motive and suspect.
