Prince George’s police ID woman found slain in Adelphi

WASHINGTON — The Prince George’s County police are investigating the death of a woman found Monday morning Adelphi, Maryland.

On Tuesday morning, the police identified the woman as Ashley Solano, 29. They say that they’re treating her death as a homicide, and that it doesn’t appear to be a random incident.

Officers were called to the 7400 block of 18th Avenue about 9 a.m. Monday to check on someone’s welfare, and found Solano suffering from unspecified trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police ask that anyone with information to call 1-866-411-8477.
