1 dead, 2 injured in Prince George’s Co. crash

WASHINGTON — One person is dead after a head-on crash In Prince George’s County Thursday afternoon.

The two vehicles collided along Laurel-Bowie Road near Powder Mill Road in Laurel, Maryland, around 12:50 p.m.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene, says Prince George’s County Police Officer Harry Bond.

Two people in the other vehicle — a female and a young girl — were both taken to the hospital. They were no seriously hurt, Bond says.

Investigators are working to determine exactly what caused the crash.

Officials have not released the name of the man who died.
