WASHINGTON — There was a close call in Lanham, Maryland, on Wednesday when a car went through the front of a liquor store.
It happened at about 10:30 a.m. at a store on Annapolis Road, and Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department spokesman Mark Brady says the driver accidentally drove into the store when she put her foot on the gas instead of the brake.
The driver was trapped in debris, Brady says, but came out unharmed and refused to be taken to a hospital. Some employees were in the store, but no one else was in the car, and no one was hurt.
