Hughesville man dead in Prince George’s car crash

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County police officers are investigating a fatal crash in Brandywine, Maryland.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Friday, patrol officers were called to the 15300 block of Brandywine Road for a reported crash. When they arrived, they found Adrean Austin suffering from critical injuries. He died a short time later. Austin was 33.

According to an investigation, Austin was driving northbound on Brandywine Road when he lost control while on a curve. His car crossed into the southbound lanes of traffic and struck an SUV. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
