This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Paisley, a kitten whose favorite place to sleep is on her owner’s shoulder.
Here’s what new pet owner Shea had to say:
Hi, my name is Paisley and I just moved into my new home in Arlington less than a month ago. My mom adopted me within five minutes of being at PetSmart after coming from Last Chance Animal Rescue. I guess it must have been love at first sight and meant to be.
I love that it’s just us two girls. I basically get all her attention all the time. I often sit on her feet while she cooks or does the dishes. Actually, I just love being in the kitchen in general. That rug is just so comfy! Sometimes I get a little confused about breakfast, lunch, and dinner though. Food is totally more fun to play with than eat. I’m also having a little trouble with this whole “litter box” thing but I’m pretty confident I’ll get it soon.
I must be the most popular pet on the block. I always have visitors, which I like because I get to attack their shoes. I forgot to mention my ABSOLUTE favorite spot to curl up and sleep is on my mom’s shoulder while she watches TV. Sometimes her kisses wake me up but believe me, I don’t mind.
