Photos: The 2018 Kentucky Derby

WASHINGTON — It’s known as the most exciting two minutes in sports.

The 144th Kentucky Derby took place in Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, Saturday.

Twenty horses competed in the race and Justify, a chestnut colt, won for the sixth year in a row, the longest run since the 1970s.
