Fox News anchor Bret Baier lists D.C. mansion for $31.9M, a potentially record-setting price

Months after dropping $37 million on a Palm Beach home, Fox News anchor Bret Baier and his wife Amy are listing their newly constructed Northwest D.C. mansion for a potentially record-setting price.

The Baiers are asking $31.9 million for 2400 Foxhall Road NW, a 16,250-square-foot home on a 1.47-acre lot. The four-level, neoclassical mansion, with five-bedrooms, seven full-baths and two half-baths, is described in its listing as “the finest home ever constructed in Washington.”

Daniel Heider and Jaclyn Mason of the Heider office at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty represent the sellers. The home, inspired by the Chateau du Grand-Lucé in France, was designed and constructed by a team including architect David Jones, landscape architect Richard Arentz, interior designer Thomas Pheasant and developer Michael Banks.
