WASHINGTON — When the circus is in town, the show attracts kids young and old. Apparently, it also attracts star athletes.

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III stopped by Sunday afternoon’s Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey show, DRAGONS, and enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour with the show’s stars — and elephants — after the performance.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s DRAGONS will be at the Verizon Center from March 21-24, at Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena from March 27 to April 7 and at the Patriot Center in Fairfax from April 10-21.
