As the Hotel Palomar in Rosslyn finishes its transition into Le Meridien Arlington this month, a few more details are emerging about what the rebranded hotel will look like.
For one thing, Domaso Restaurant has been rechristened Amuse, according to an announcement from HEI Hotels & Resorts, which purchased the property from The JBG Cos. Under the deal, Le Meridien Arlington will be managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. and will be the 43rd hotel in HEI’s portfolio.
John Coleman has been appointed general manager of the property. He is a veteran of the Sheraton Rockville hotel and has spent time with Starwood as well.
Details about Amuse are fairly limited, but it will function as both a bar and brasserie.
Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ Jeffrey Davis and Senior Vice President Gilda Perez-Alvarado worked on the deal, which we previously reported. Financial terms were not disclosed, though Bloomberg News pegged the deal at $45 million.
