WATCH: Montgomery Co. leaders ‘Cupid Shuffle’ their way to healthier hearts (Video)

WASHINGTON — Montgomery County leaders are dancing their way to healthier hearts, and are encouraging the rest of the county to do the same.

More than 2,000 Americans die every day from cardiovascular-related diseases. Throughout February, the Montgomery County government is challenging people to “shuffle your way to a healthier heart” through its Live Well Program.

To demonstrate how seriously they’re taking this challenge, County Executive Ike Leggett and Police Chief J. Thomas Manger released a video of them doing the “Cupid Shuffle.”

“I made all of these people behind me look very good,” Leggett said at the end of the video, claiming to have choreographed the whole routine.
