WASHINGTON — One person is dead and at least one other is injured after a crash along Clara Barton Parkway, between Chain Bridge and the Glen Echo turnaround early Thursday.
The road was closed in both directions in that area for about five hours, reopening a little after 6 a.m.
U.S. Park Police say they got a call for the crash around 1:10 a.m. A vehicle fire at the scene has since been put out, but investigators remain there.
