WASHINGTON — The body of a dead man was found inside a Silver Spring, Maryland house where chemicals thought to be used to manufacture drugs also were found, police say.
“There are no indications of foul play involved in his death,” says Montgomery County police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks.
Police are continuing to piece together what happened and are saying little about the investigation. They first responded to the scene at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday.
“They [first responders] also noticed the presence of some substances that may be related to the manufacturing of drugs,” Starks says.
Starks says a family member found the man who lived alone in the house in the 600 block of Winona Court. Police have not released the identity of the man who is believed to be in his 30s.
